Biography Biography
Timothy Joseph Bernardy Jr. (T.J.) was born on August 26th, 1986 in Newport Beach, California. He graduated from Mater Dei High School, and then from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) with a degree in Business Law and Marketing in 2009.
While at LMU, T.J. was a scholarship member of the baseball team. He was the starting catcher from 2007-2009, and in 2007 he was named "Newcomer" of the year. In 2009, he was named Division I All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention after leading LMU to its first conference championship series in four years. Defensively, T.J. did not commit an error all year. Offensively, T.J. lead the West Coast Conference in on-base percentage (.491), finished second in batting average (.422), and finished seventh in slugging percentage (.600) for conference games.
Off the field, T.J. was named to the 2009 West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, and was a member of the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll from 2007-2009. T.J. also served as the baseball representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where he was involved with numerous charity events in and around Southern California.
In 2009, T.J. decided to forego a career as a professional baseball player and enrolled in law school in order to follow his true passion, representing clients in the world of entertainment and sports. T.J. discovered his passion while working under top sports agent Greg Genske at Legacy Sports Group. After stepping away from the game of baseball, T.J. fell in love with the entertainment industry and in June 2010 began working at the top talent and literary agency, William Morris Endeavor (WME). While working at WME, T.J. has had the opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest dealmakers in Hollywood.
 T.J. is currently a 2012 Juris Doctor Candidate and Dean's Law Scholar at Chapman University School of Law. He is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Sports Lawyers Association, and the Chapman Entertainment and Sports Law Society.
